Can I get a new boiler grant?
If you’re eligible for any of the designated benefits such as universal credit, working tax credits, pension credits, child tax credits, income-related ESA, or income-related JSA, there’s a significant chance that you qualify for a FREE A-rated boiler grant or enjoy substantial subsidies for a new boiler installation. It’s worth noting that, according to the current scheme, automatic qualification for a FREE boiler grant requires your boiler to be over 17 years old. Boilers under 17 years old are exempt from automatic qualification, as the scheme assumes that, in such cases, repairing the existing boiler might be more cost-effective than opting for a complete replacement.
